Working in the Lab

My time in the lab involved conducting and designing experiments to measure human interaction and engagement with robots (physical or online) alongside Dr. Leila Takayama. Recently, we researched how robots solicit help while completing tasks and/or feedback on socially appropriate behavior. Due to the pandemic, we adapted our research to work virtually, without the need for physical robots. I helped in designing the interaction between humans and virtual robots. While doing so, I ensured these experiments follow academic resarch methods and IRB protocols.
